In late May and early June, I produced a series of musical videos for kids in collaboration with the Johnstown Public Library. You can view all four episodes of "Singin' in the Kitchen" on the JPL's Facebook page or on Youtube, here:

Since Bandcamp is waiving its processing fees today, 5/1/20, I'm releasing three tracks from the upcoming album as an EP. You can snag these three tunes for two measley bucks - cheap! These will be among a dozen or more tracks appearing on the full-length album, which I'm hoping to release by June 2020!
Finnegan and I appeared this morning on Joe Altieri's "Wake Up with the Vibe" program to promote "Chicken Milk & Other Mysteries." Good times!
Musicians all around the world are performing live over the internet these days, since the Coronavirus has up cooped up in physical isolation ... Here's one tune from a live-stream I did last night on Facebook, and I'm posting here for posterity (heh).
Finnegan and I were at it again today, putting together a new song and a video to go with it, complete with animation! Enjoy!
UPDATE: Now you can order your very own "Chicken Milk" T-shirt or hoodie! Check it out: www.bonfire.com/chicken-milk-shirt/
My son Finnegan and I have been singing to help pass the time while are all "socially distancing" during the Coronavirus pandemic. Here's something we came up with today... see the lyrics below.
"We Shall Not Be Moved (Coronavirus Edition)"
A bug has come between us But we shall not be moved Let it not demean us We shall not be moved Like a tree planted by the water We shall not be moved. Though we can’t be together We shall not be moved This won’t last forever We shall not be moved Like a tree planted by the water We shall not be moved. Though we are isolated We shall not be moved Compassion underrated We shall not be moved Like a tree planted by the water We shall not be moved. Though some try to divide us We shall not be moved We can stop the virus We shall not be moved Like a tree planted by the water We shall not be moved. (New lyrics by Bill Ackerbauer set to the traditional spiritual "I Shall Not Be Moved," which drew from Psalm 1:3: "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.") (And thanks to Dan E. Zanes for inspiring people to play songs like these together with their loved ones.) #upliftingsongs #coronahomeschool This was my busiest year yet in terms of the number of gigs I played and the number of other musical projects I cooked up, including shows I promoted and teaching guitar and fiddle lessons at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts. I can't wait to see what 2020 has in store, but I guarantee it will feature some good moments with The Insolent Willies, the Doghouse Carpenters, and the Johnstown Midsummer Concert Series!
